Article 1: Sending of Press Releases
1.1 Customers and users of Belga.share's services are responsible for the content and accuracy of the press releases they send.
1.2 All press releases must comply with the deontological rules laid down by the Press Council and other relevant journalistic codes.
1.3 Belga reserves the right to refuse or remove press releases that do not comply with these deontological rules.
Article 2: Management of the Newsroom
2.1 Users who have access to a newsroom of Belga.share must comply with the same deontological rules as mentioned in Article 1.
2.2 It is strictly forbidden to impersonate anyone else without the explicit written consent of the person or organisation concerned.
2.3 If identity fraud or other irregularities are suspected, Belga reserves the right to immediately deny the user(s) concerned access to the newsroom and take further legal action if necessary.
Article 3: Consent and Responsibility
3.1 Users must obtain and be able to present written consent when acting on behalf of someone else or sending press releases on behalf of a third party.
3.2 Failure to obtain such consent may result in immediate termination of services and possible legal prosecution.
Article 4: Ownership and Data export
4.1 Belga remains the sole owner of the newsroom and all associated infrastructure.
4.2 Users have the right to export their own data from the newsroom. For assistance in exporting data, users can contact [email protected].
Article 5: Content guidelines
5.1 Users may not publish or share content that is:
- Unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent.
- Is offensive, hateful, harassing, or harmful.
- Contains inappropriate, violent, or pornographic images or videos.
- Violates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
- Discloses personal data of others without their consent.
- Contains spam, phishing, or other forms of unsolicited commercial messages.
5.2 Belga reserves the right to remove content that does not comply with these guidelines and take appropriate action against the users concerned, including but not limited to denying access to the Services and taking legal action if necessary.
Article 6: Termination of the Contract
6.1 If a user terminates their contract with Belga, Belga reserves the right to take the relevant newsroom offline.
6.2 Users are advised to export their data before the contract is terminated, as access to the newsroom is no longer guaranteed after termination.
Article 7: Support
7.1 Specific to this service, support is available between 8:00 and 17:00, on weekdays only.

Article 8: Changes and Updates
8.1 Belga reserves the right to amend or modify this Addendum at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users through Belga's official channels.
8.2 Continued use of Belga's services after such amendments implies acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
Article 9: Liability
9.1 Belga shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the User's failure to comply with this Addendum.
9.2 Users shall indemnify Belga for all claims, damages and costs arising from violations of this addendum.
